At the core of many of our protocols is fasting, either intermittent and complete, with elixirs and tonic herbs that are super nutrient dense. These herbs are selected for not only the highest quality, but those that add cellular drainage and detoxification. The Northern Seafaring folk new the value of the seaweeds, as do many Asian cultures and modern health enthusiasts. This is also a great supplement for daily use. Some recipes are below the description.

We use these wildcrafted Northern water sea herbs ourselves in our personal protocols, preparing for our ritual sojourns in the forest. All of the sacrifices of time and compromises in the modern world start to build up in acidic and heavy, processed foods that one is forced to eat for time or on the road. Working in the minute tasks makes life sedentary, and the perfect storm of toxic stagnation starts to develop. It is crucial to flush out the body, and give the dense superfoods to boost the healing and cleansing. People call these foods electric because they are energizing to cellular processes and often one feels an increase in energy from the deep nourishment of sea minerals from a modern farming diet of foods devoid of nutrients.

We start out with our special high grade, cracked-wall chlorella that is a dense source of nutrients:

Iron and vitamin C: Chlorella can be a good source of iron. Depending on the dosage of the supplement, it may provide anywhere from 6–40% of your daily need. It’s also an excellent source of vitamin C, which helps you absorb iron. This powder is a rich source of vitamins including vitamins B12 (not found in land plants),
Other antioxidants: These tiny green cells provide a wide range of antioxidants (
Other vitamins and minerals: Chlorella provides small amounts of magnesium, zinc, copper, potassium, calcium, folic acid and other B vitamins .
Omega-3s: As with other algae, chlorella contains some omega-3s. Just 3 grams of chlorella delivers 100 mg of omega-3s (8).
Fiber: In large quantities, chlorella can be a good source of fiber. However, most supplements don’t provide even 1 gram of fiber per dose
