This is the Siddha herb for mucous and phlegm that can be from allergies or weather, or from various reasons of food. It is a very safe and effective herb to help move out this congestion and coughing, especially those waking up with thick phlegm and mucous or as a result of allergies and diet. We chose the image of a yogic technique of closing one nostril for breathing, a good technique to use in clearing the productive phlegms and mucous that can result from using this herb. Talispatra leaves are mucolytic, antitussive and anti-inflammatory. Due to these properties, Talispatra leaves clear the airways and dissolve thick mucus accumulated in the lungs. Further, they also reduce mucus production. Therefore, they help reducing symptoms of chronic bronchitis and asthma.

In addition to these, talish leaves also have bronchodilatory action, which eases in breathing. Anxiolytic property also reduces mental stress associated with persistent cough and asthma and brings sound sleep at night.
